OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Drupal 8/9 Developer responsible for front-end development and theming as well as back-end/module development. This position requires a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML, CSS, JS, etc.) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). The best candidates have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with modern frameworks and responsive design is strongly preferred. In addition, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.

DUTIES
• Responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality, establishing, and guiding the website’s architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of a Drupal CMS
• Work closely with front-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience developing web solutions in Drupal 8/9 and PHP implementations in a LAMP environment
• Experience with Drupal custom entities and the Drupal Form API
• Experience with theming, views, and custom plugins and blocks in Drupal 8/9
• Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architecture
• Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, SCSS/SASS, CSS, and JavaScript/TrueScript
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs using JSON:API
• Experience implementing OAuth 2.0 for authentication and authorization
• Extremely fluent with HTML5/XHTML and CSS
• Comfortable working with web tools including Git, Drush, Gulp/Grunt, Firefox Developer Tools, Chrome Dev Tools, etc.
• Ability to understand CSS changes to have consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
