Drupal Web Developer – REMOTE at E Source

Are you an experienced Drupal developer looking to join a team of pros at a mission-driven company? Can you seamlessly move between the UI and server-side code?

E Source is seeking a senior software developer with at least five years of experience developing CMS web applications using Drupal, PHP, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will be able to comfortably move between the UI and server-side code written with PHP and JavaScript.

What Will Make You a Good Fit
• Professional experience in modern CMS web development using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript (HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, etc.)—for frontend and web services
• At least 1-3 years of Drupal 7 and 8/9 experience creating complex PHP code and integrating third-party libraries and APIs to build CMS applications
• Node.js experience developing middleware that integrates frontend with developed web services, databases, caches, and proxies
• Experience creating, testing, and documenting REST APIs
• Experience with OAuth or other authentication tokens to protect web services using an API
• Experience working with both NoSQL and relational databases, especially MongoDB
• Strong foundation in web application and microservices design patterns
• Ability to create unit, integration, smoke, and end-to-end tests
• Experience managing code and projects with Git, GitHub, and Phabricator
• Agile/Scrum development experience and the ability to commit to and self-manage tasks required for each sprint
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with analysts, software architect, project manager, and colleagues across the organization

Skills And Experience That Are a Major Plus
• Administering Nginx
• Tuning SOLR search
• Managing web-related infrastructure assets in AWS, including EC2, RDS, API Gateway, ELB, and Route 53
• Designing GraphQL APIs and managing related databases
• Using Docker to streamline DevOps and delivery pipelines
• Writing frontend and backend tests with frameworks like Selenium, and building deployment pipelines in Jenkins

• EXPERIENCE WITH LINUX – COMMAND LINE AND GIT IS IMPORTANT
• Conversational understanding of LAMP and/or IIS/SQL, network protocol layers, security layers and domain models
